School Bus Policy

• Bus service is strictly for the school students in uniform. No parents will be allowed to travel by school bus.
• Bus facility is extended to students only when there is an availability of seats and is offered at the Principal’s discretion.
• The bus will halt only at stops fixed by the authorities for every bus route and no changes will be entertained.
• Students will have to arrange for their own conveyance to reach school whenever they are late to reach the bus stop at the given time and in case of unexpected breakdown of the bus.
• Parents should pick their children (especially Nursery to Std. IV) at the bus stop. In case no one is present at the bus stop to receive a child at the time of dropping, the child will be brought back to school and the parents will have to pick their child from school.
• With regard to secondary students, it is advised that parents pick their child / ward at the bus stop. In the absence of the parent at the bus stop, students will be dropped and the school will not be held responsible if a child reaches home late. Bus authorities will be responsible for the students only during their commute by bus.
• The bus staff will not be responsible for any loss or damage of student’s belongings, such as school bag, water bottle, raincoats, umbrellas and sweater.
• Students must obey and be courteous to the bus-staff.
• Students cannot cause damage to the school bus in any form. Students found guilty
  of such act will be terminated from the bus service and the damages will be
  recovered from the parents of the concerned students.
• Bus fee has to be paid quarterly and not monthly. The bus service, once availed,
  must be continued for the entire academic year from June to May. No cancellations
  will be allowed under any circumstances during the academic year.
• In case a student discontinues bus service due to unavoidable reasons in the middle
  of a quarter, the bus fee has to be paid for the entire quarter.
• Bus fee is subject to increase, as and when there is a hike in taxes, price of spare
  parts, diesel, contractor charges, maintenance charges and staff salary.
• Fees once paid will not be refunded.
• Parents are requested not to hand over the fee or fee card to drivers and
  conductors. The school will not be responsible if any issue arises in this regard.
• Students availing bus facility should intimate or take prior permission from school if they have to go walking for a day or two. School authorities will not be responsible for bus students who decide to walk to school without prior intimation or permission.

During the time of exams the bus timings and sometimes even the buses are liable to
change.
